The Cost of College

Our graduating classes have earned up to $2 million dollars in college scholarship offers. Our students are ready for college when they leave St. John Central Academy. They have learned time management and responsibility.

Targeting Trade Careers

Careers in the trades have always been something our alumni have been successful at achieving. Because our math and science classes are so focused on higher achievement and success our students easily qualify for jobs in the trades.

What to do?

St. John Central Academy realizes that no two students are the same. Some students are talented in math, some in science and some in the arts. At St. John Central Academy, we find that child's superpower and help to cultivate their interests and push them to be their very best.

These rates apply when more then one child is in grade school (K-8th) at the same time or there is more than one child in the High School. FAQ'S

  • What are the benefits of studying at St. John Central Academy?

Smaller class size allows for your child to have an inclusive learning experience. This unique classroom experience allows our instructors to uncover a child's adept abilities, foster them and help build on the talents your child already posses. This method also ensures that any deficit receives immediate and extra attention, if necessary. This inclusive experience brings the most modest of children out of their comfort zone and allows them to start creating social skills and healthy relationships with their peers. All of this is guided with a Christian philosophy that teaches your child to respect and love their fellow classmates and to treat everyone with regard.

  • What does a typical day look like?

Students begin the day with prayer, pledge of allegiance and morning announcements. Classes begin at 7:45 am.  Lower grade level students go to lunch at 11:05 am, followed by a thirty minute recess. The upper grade level students attend lunch at 11:35. All throughout the day, the students switch from class to class getting a well-rounded education. On Wednesdays we alternate between offering a Catholic Mass and a prayer & worship session. This allows for students to choose what way they would like to attend, and whether or not they’d like to opt out of one or both of these sessions.

  • What is the registration deadline?

SJCA welcomes new students all year. However, it is best if students begin the year with their class so that they do not fall behind. If a student comes from another school, once the school year has started, it is recommended that the student finishes the quarter, (or 9 week period)  at their current school and begins classes at SJCA on the next quarter.  In order for your child to be accepted they must meet all the criteria through the admissions office. The admissions office can be reached by calling the school at (740)676-4932 or by email at admissions@sjcacademy.net.

  • What sports are available?

We are commisioned with OHSAA, therefore any sports that they commission are avaialable to us. We  provide support and financial backing to our students through the SJCA Boosters.  Swim, Golf, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, Bowling, Cross Country and Track are currently hosted at SJCA.
